My research examines how population dynamics, migration, economic change, and state capacity shape national and international outcomes. My interests span international political economy, political demography, and international relations, with particular attention to development, inequality, and the distribution of power.

My published work explores demographic change and retirement policy, political performance and well-being, and the relationship between governmental capacity and public health. Current projects examine demographic cooperation, retirement policy, international power distribution, and barriers to equitable voting.

I received my Ph.D. in Political Science from Claremont Graduate University in 2024, with fields in International Relations and Comparative Politics. My dissertation examined the role of state capacity in shaping internal migration in China. At La Sierra, I teach economics, business analytics, and decision-making at the undergraduate and MBA levels.
